Real vs. Steal

Have you ever bought something at top price like a Michael Kors watch and then found that same looking watch for like $20. How did that make you feel? Were you mad you wasted all that money? If, so that is the goal of this themed article, to search for the cheaper version of an item and to find top price items for less.

Ok so today I was introduced to this really cute lip balm. It had a really pretty neutral bronze colored casing and a clearing stick of lip balm with SPF 15. It was so cute it was one of those things I felt I just needed to have. Little did I know there was a whole collection or set of different colored lip balms and casings. So as I continued in my research to my disappointment I found that this lip balm with is called SUGAR was $22 at Sephora.

Tell me what you think.....don't you think they are adorable?

Anyways so I was really sad because I didn't want to spend $22 hard earned dollars on a lip balm. Yes a lip balm as in one. Then I realized that though the design is completely different I have a product given to me by my sister for my birthday called BABY LIPS. It was cheap and you could get it at any drug store and it works really well. Also they have a lot of bold fun colors that you can enjoy collecting. The range in price from like $2.99-$4.25 which is a really nice price for these cute little playful lip balms. Not to mention how moisturizing they are to my lips.

While they are both great products, BABY LIPS wins only because of its overall price. Sure I would love to try one of the SUGAR lip balms but I just can't right now at least not at my pay and that price.

Also BABY LIPS just recently came out with these new neon collections that I totally love!!! Be sure to check it out the next time your at Target or your local drugstore!!!

Collect them all the BABY LIPS like me!!!! You won't regret it!!!

Stylize

The first Stylize project I decided to do was something at the South Bay Galleria called Project Style. This was a competition where I could incorporate my style with what was trending. It was an amazing opportunity were you compete against other girls of all ages for the ultimate prize....to attend Mercedes-Benz Fashion week in New York, receive a $1000 gift card to South Bay Galleria , and move on to the national round.        My journey with Project Style started on July 31st when after 2 years of watching other girls on the stage showing off there style I decide I wanted to show off my own, so I entered. Not thinking I would get chosen, when I got a call that i was in I was thrilled.  I was given $150 for the first round to go around the mall and piece an outfit together that was both trendy and creative. Boy was that crazy. I ran around the mall with my little sister picking out clothes an putting them together to create a cute, vintage outfit.  Then I had to post a vide
