Observation Sensation

Have you ever just starred at people. Before you freak out and say I don't want to be a weirdo just starring at people think about it. The french do it all the time. They just sit in there little cafes drinking coffee and watching people go by. Now granted it may not be all for style but I think this is something we should all try. People can be a big source of inspiration and new ideas. You could be the most fashionable at school, work, or daily life but like everything there is always room to grow or improve. With that note I encourage you to look around, take a glance, observe new styles. See what you find and let me know. I promise you it's not that hard just take a picture, comment on this post, tell me the styles you see.

Hopefully, last week you discovered your own personal style. Now moving on from your own personal style now extending yourself to learn from others is a hard task if your not open minded and you become to judgmental so I encourage you to keep and open mind.

To get you started I will tell you some inspiration ideas I have had. Have you ever thought about wearing a dress and then layering it with a shirt folded up? I have seen my friend do this so many times with simple dresses and pretty shirts. For the first time ever the other day it tried it with a high-low dress and a mint buttoned down shirt with a cute black collar. I was a risk but turned out surprisingly nice. I of course accessorized as well to add to the outfit. I would say it was in overall success! If you need help or have something you want me to try and share. Let me know!

Stylize

The first Stylize project I decided to do was something at the South Bay Galleria called Project Style. This was a competition where I could incorporate my style with what was trending. It was an amazing opportunity were you compete against other girls of all ages for the ultimate prize....to attend Mercedes-Benz Fashion week in New York, receive a $1000 gift card to South Bay Galleria , and move on to the national round.        My journey with Project Style started on July 31st when after 2 years of watching other girls on the stage showing off there style I decide I wanted to show off my own, so I entered. Not thinking I would get chosen, when I got a call that i was in I was thrilled.  I was given $150 for the first round to go around the mall and piece an outfit together that was both trendy and creative. Boy was that crazy. I ran around the mall with my little sister picking out clothes an putting them together to create a cute, vintage outfit.  Then I had to post a vide
